Artivities – Teen

Build Skills. Find Your Voice. Elevate Your Portfolio.

Artivities for Teens is designed for young artists who want to strengthen their drawing and painting skills, develop their own artistic voice and take their work to the next level.

Through focused instruction, individual guidance and hand-on practice, teens develop the technical and creative skills they need to create stronger, more intentional work.

Whether they are building a high-school art portfolio, preparing for AP Art, developing work for college applications, or considering a future in art and design, Artivities gives young artists the opportunity to grow with confidence.

Teens (age 12-16) meet from 11:00 – 1:00 pm Thursdays. Must be able to sit, focus and conduct self in a safe, studio-appropriate manner.

Develop. Learn how to take an idea from concept to finished artwork and develop a body of work that reflects individual interests and strengths.

Build Your Portfolio. Create thoughtful, finished pieces that can become part of a high-school, AP Art, college or art-school portfolio.

Prepare for what’s next. Build skills and confidence for AP Art coursewrk, college applications, art-school admissions, and future creative study.
